Objects Amendment March 4, 2005

The objects of the Society are as follows:

To form a common organization of persons, firms, partnerships, or corporations in the textile rental industry or related endeavours and to promote the development, scientific, literary and social purposes to the Textile Rental Industry, and to promote a high standard of business ethics, and to encourage and support research and experimentation in furthering the development of textile goods and the methods of processing textile goods and the dissemination of information concerning such to the members, and to instruct and enhance the knowledge of member employees concerning textile goods and processing, and to assist members in the establishment and maintenance of good industrial relations including the negotiation and administration of collective bargaining agreements, and to make representations to all levels of government and their agencies respecting any matters which may affect the textile rental industry, and to promote the attainment of harmonious relations between members and between the Society and other organizations.
